How to register your company on SamBooks: sign-up, verification email and what happens next

Registering your company on SamBooks takes two minutes: you sign up online, confirm your email and — once the company is verified — get access to every feature. This guide walks you through it: sign-up, verification email, the «under review» screen and what to upload to unlock access.
Before you start
All you need is:
- Your company's VAT number (partita IVA).
- A valid email address (it becomes your username).
- A couple of minutes.
If your company was set up recently or isn't in the official registries yet, you may be asked for the chamber-of-commerce registration document (visura camerale) — a free PDF. No problem, see below.
Step 1 — Open the sign-up page
Go to sambooks.ai/register. At the top, choose «For my company» (the default option).

Step 2 — Find your company
Start typing your company name or VAT number in the search field: SamBooks looks it up in the official registries and fills in the legal name, VAT number and registered office for you.
Can't find it? Click «Can't find your company? Add it manually» and type the VAT number and company name by hand.
SamBooks sets the standard tax regime (RF01) automatically — the one most companies use. If you're on the Italian flat-rate scheme, switch on «I'm on the flat-rate regime (RF19)». You can change the regime anytime in Settings.
Step 3 — Create your account
Fill in your personal details:
- First name and Last name
- Email (your login)
- Password (at least 8 characters) and confirmation
Tick the two required consents — Terms of Service and Privacy Notice — and click Create account. Your account is created.
Step 4 — Confirm your email address
Right after sign-up we send a verification email to the address you provided.

- Inside you'll find a «Verify email» button: click it to confirm.
The link expires after 24 hours, so open the email and confirm as soon as you can.
Don't see it? Check your spam / junk folder: the first messages from a new sender sometimes land there. The confirmation screen also has a «Resend email» button. To track it down in the main providers (Gmail, Outlook, Libero…) see Verification email not arriving.
What happens after sign-up
Depending on your company's data, one of these will happen:
- Immediate access — your company is already in the official registries, so you go straight into SamBooks.
- «Fetching data» — we're retrieving your company's details from the Chamber of Commerce. It takes a few minutes and the page unlocks on its own.
- «Manual review» — you entered the company by hand and it isn't in the registries we're connected to: we ask for the visura camerale to complete verification (see below).
- Self-declared flat-rate — if you register as flat-rate you get in right away; the company shows a «not verified» label you can change later.
In every case we email you as soon as your company is ready.
The «We're verifying your company» screen
If your access is under manual review, after logging in you'll see a screen asking you to upload the visura camerale (the PDF from the Chamber of Commerce). This is how we confirm the company exists and that you manage it.
- Get the visura: it's free and downloads in a few minutes from the Entrepreneur's Digital Drawer. Full procedure in Download your company's visura for free.
- Drag the PDF into the upload area (or click to select it). Only PDF files up to 10 MB are accepted.
- Click «Confirm and verify».
In most cases verification is automatic, within seconds — we read the data straight from the PDF. If an extra check is needed, we email you within 24-48 hours. You don't have to stay on the page: you can close it and come back later.
And then? Your first login
Once the company is verified you land in the dashboard. The «First steps in SamBooks» card greets you and guides the initial setup (confirm your tax regime, start receiving supplier invoices, import data from your old software). Frequently asked questions
The verification email didn't arrive. Check spam and junk, make sure you typed the address correctly, and use «Resend email». Full details in the dedicated guide.
How long does company verification take? If it's automatic, seconds or minutes. If a manual check is needed, we email you within 24-48 hours.
Can I use SamBooks while my company is being verified? Full features unlock once verification is complete. Uploading the visura speeds it up — usually it's instant.
I made a mistake in the company data. After logging in you can fix the tax profile and company details in Settings.
